The GTW 330 is a twin-axle transfer trailer with low drawbar and tandem chassis with hydraulic axle compensation and follow-up steering (2nd axle), a load volume of 33 m³ and a gross weight of 23 to 24 t (road) or 35 t (field). It has an unloading rate of up to approx. 1,100 t/h. It can be used for grain, corn maize and CCM. A unique feature is its standard powerband drive for starting and stopping the feed auger hydraulically also under load. This allows the overload auger to be emptied even when the transfer trailer is not completely empty yet. Two large viewing windows in the front wall provide a good view into the body from the driver’s seat of the tractor. It is designed to minimise the accumulation of crop deposits in the body. The feed auger also has a unique design: its flight pitch increases gradually from the back to the front to ensure even emptying over its entire length and minimises grain breakage. Optional extras include the TwinBunker split cargo space system for filling seed drills with fertiliser and seed, a mechanical weighing system for monitoring the transferred amount and operation via ISOBUS. The transfer trailer is the logical connection for transport between the continually moving combine harvesters and the transport vehicles waiting by the field. It unites the advantages of low ground disturbance, efficient transport in the field and fast road transport. It maximises combine harvester utilization by allowing its uninterrupted operation, thereby paying a valuable contribution to reducing the time needed for harvest. In addition to grains, the BERGMANN transfer trailers can also be used for any flowable goods – such as corn maize, CCM rape – as well as seed and fertiliser for filling seeders and fertiliser spreaders. With their low centre of gravity, they offer superior driving comfort on both field and road. Their low dead weight results in a high payload.
