The beet transfer trailer is the logistical transport link between the constantly moving beet harvesters and the windrows or the transport vehicles at the edge of the field. The use of a beet transfer trailer can considerably increase a beet harvester's performance. The RRW 400 beet transfer trailer has a load volume of 39 m³. It is equipped with a tandem chassis with hydraulic axle compensation and follow-up steering (2nd axle). Maximum soil protection can be achieved with the optional crab steering system, i.e. offset track driving. A tyre pressure control system is also optionally available. The chassis is the VARIO 440 body swap chassis, so that a spreader or forage body can also be used. The gross weight is 23 to 24 t for road driving and 36 t for field usage. The RRW 400 is designed to provide maximum transfer rates while treating the crop gently. BERGMANN beet transfer trailers are extremely stable due to their full-steel structure and are therefore ideally suited for use under difficult conditions. The two metre wide transfer belt ensures high conveying rates with a short unloading time of about 45 seconds. This allows a maximum unloading rate of up to 2,100 t per hour. The transfer belt with integrated cleaning function, folds into three sections, making it exceptionally adaptable to all conditions up to a transfer height of more than 4 meters. The standard on-board hydraulics are driven via the tractor’s PTO. Operation via PILOTBOX as standard. Operation via ISOBUS is also possible.
