The SHUTTLE 470 K is a loader wagon with a load volume from 45 to 47 m³ and is designed for combined use for green fodder harvest and as forage transport trailer. The 2,270 mm wide pick-up with double swath roller facilitates a clean crop intake. BERGMANN is the only manufacturer to offer both a steered "ActiveLoad" and a non-steered "EasyLoad" pick-up for loader wagons. This allows users to choose the pick-up type that is best suited to their particular requirements and operating conditions. The rotor with a width of 1,840 mm and a diameter of 850 mm is designed for a high throughput with perfect cut quality. With the short cutting unit with 53 knives, the theoretical cut length is 34 mm. The scraper floor is made of rugged steel (standard equipment) and lowered by 275 mm at the front for a better material flow and lower power demand. The SHUTTLE has a movable front wall to increase the load volume and a forage loading flap for use as forage transport trailer as standard equipment. The standard tandem chassis with 300 mm hydraulic axle compensation ensures superior driving characteristics, excellent stability and off-road capability as well as safety both at standstill and while driving. A tridem chassis with hydraulic axle compensation for a vehicle gross weight of up to 34 t is optionally available. To ensure low ground disturbance on the field, various tyres in sizes up to 800/45 R30.5 are available. A follow-up steering to minimize disturbance of the sensitive sward is standard. Superior user friendliness and high ease of use with ISOBUS operation as standard. The ISOBUS standard allows the use of ISOBUS-compatible operator and tractor terminals.
